SHIPPING POLICY

That’s right, we deliver nationwide! No matter where you are located in South Africa, you can safely order your hiking gear directly on our website.

Once you’ve placed your order, what’s next?

Your purchase will be processed as soon as possible, during regular business hours and usually take 2 to 3 working days.  Orders placed Friday and over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.  Once processed, orders are dispatched and an email with shipping information will be sent to you.

Once an order is dispatched it is the responsibility of the customer to make themselves available to receive the order, so please carefully consider your delivery address for a location where there will be someone around to receive delivery. Outdoor Cape Town is not responsible for any issues caused as a result of unsuccessful deliveries or instances where the customer has not been available to receive their order. Where a customer has has not been available to receive their order it is the duty of the customer to contact the courier company to arrange an alternate delivery time. If your movements are unpredictable, the best delivery options would be Pudo, PAXI or PostNet as you can collect when convenient for you (even over weekends).

DELIVERY POLICY

Delivery options available:

  • Pudo-to-locker: R65
  • Pudo-to-door: R85
  • PAXI (PEP to PEP): R60 (standard) – R110 (express)
  • PostNet to PostNet: R110
  • The Courier Guy: R145 (delivery to door)

We currently do not ship outside South Africa.

Collection:
If you prefer to arrange your own courier, please contact us to arrange before placing your order.

PAYMENTS

Payment options available:

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • PayFast

When choosing EFT as payment option, please do the EFT as soon as you receive the order confirmation. Stock will only be reserved for 24 hours, after which your order will be automatically cancelled and products assigned to your order will be returned to stock.
